Juliana is a historian (PhD Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina) at the Museo Etnográfico “J. B. Ambrosetti” and IDECU (Instituto de las Culturas) in Buenos Aires. Her research is focused on Spanish America Atlantic margins (i.e. Río de la Plata and Florida) during the Sixteenth Century and its impact on etnographic and geographic knowledge production and circulation. She is conducting post-doctoral studies on these topics with a CONICET (Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas) grant.
